Mission
The Frassati Fellowship is a young adult ministry of the Cathedral of the Annunciation parish.
Inspired in the life and example of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, the mission of the group is to provide a setting for prayer, fellowship, formation, and service for Catholic young adults, ages 18 to 35.

All young adults ages 18-35 are invited to an inspiring evening titled, “To the Heights: Learning to Love with a Chaste Heart.” Join us for a night of fellowship, faith, and meaningful conversation as we introduce the mission of the Frassati Fellowship. We will explore the beauty of emotional chastity and agape love—a Christ-centered love that leads to authentic freedom, deeper relationships, and holiness.

About Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati
Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati was born in Turin, Italy in 1901. From a young age, he showed a love for Jesus in the Eucharist (attending Mass daily since the age of 12), a radical love for the poor, and a love of the outdoors. As a college student studying engineering, he brought other young adults together for prayer, service to the needy, and hiking trips to the mountains. He once wrote on a photograph of himself climbing one such mountain, “verso l’alto,” that is, “to the heights,” exhorting his companions to aspire towards the things of heaven. This short phrase would become a summary of his life and a motto for young adults inspired by his example to grow in holiness. As a college student, he became a member of the Third Order of St. Dominic and other Catholic associations. He died of polio at the age of 24 when the Lord called him home. In 1990, he was beatified by Pope John Paul II who called him the “Man of the Eight Beatitudes.” He stands as a model of holiness for all Catholic young adults.
